Vine growing
Vine growing requires new methods of production and control of parasites and vine pests.
The objective is to produce a good-quality harvest whilst at the same time protecting not only the plants but also their environment.
The main pests are Eudemis, Cochylis, Eulia and Cryptoblabes Gnidiella moths that attack bunches of grapes, and the long-palped tortrix (Sparganothis pilleriana) that attacks leaves. These pests can have a devastating effect on grape development
To comply with environmental and human health standards, Bioprox pheromones are an effective weapon for combating vine parasites.
